There have been other shows attempted for photography. There are several more in the pike as we speak that are in production or have fizzled. For example, I watched The Shot when it ran their one season on VH1 back in 07, I liked it but it was a little dry for my taste. Asia currently has or had two different competition based photography shows, more documentary style. South Africa also has a show similar in concept to Shutter Wars. This time however I want to emphasize how the hobbyists and consumers that have taken over a large share of the photography market and how it has changed the industry, good and bad. Now both our daughters are interested in starting their own photo businesses. I think both of them would make marvelous contestants. They are both competitive and approach photography in their own individual style. It would be neat to see them compete against each other and the other contestants.
