I had an amazing time at Stacey & Todd’s Washington DC wedding and working with one of DC’s top wedding planning companies Wish Special Events. Felicia and the owner of Wish, Laura Auer, are a pleasure to work with!
From the cool atmosphere of the men’s Grooming Lounge near Georgetown to the charming Washington Club on Dupont Circle, Stacey & Todd had an absolute blast with their friends & family celebrating one of the most important days in their lives together. It was a privilege to be a part of their DC wedding celebration.
A special thanks goes to the U.S. Capitol Police for their professional courtesy allowing Stacey, Todd & I access to the U.S. Capitol Building exteriors for photographs.

- The light was perfect at our first stop at the Lincoln Memorial. The sky was really that blue! Other than a slight contrast adjustment and resizing for the web, this was straight-out-of-camera.

- We had the privilege of spending just a few minutes photographing around the U.S. Capitol building with Capitol Police escort close behind.

- Stacey & Todd were up for anything, including a little dance around the U.S. Capitol building. Photographers: The original exposure was spot on. But I decided to take the liberty to experiment with a post processing method I’ve been working on.

- This group had to be one of the most fun ones I’ve had the chance to work with!

- A member of the wedding party took this snapshot of us being escorted by the U.S. Capitol Police coming down from the Capitol building.
Love the one of them dancing with the perspective of the railing and the arches & the one of them looking across the building w/the vibrant blue sky. Beautiful!!!
