Noah, Becky & I rocked out an awesome wedding with Maggie & Mike in Ashburn, VA. I met Maggie about 2 years ago when she was a bridesmaid at another wedding, and we’ve been friends ever since. I’ve gotten to know her family more and will be shooting her sister Meghann’s wedding this August. Busy family this year! The wedding ceremony took place in Purcellville at St Francis De Salles Catholic Church. Reception was at her family’s beautiful home in Ashburn, VA.

Washington DC makeup artist Crystal Jo Makeup kicked things off making our ladies looking fabulous! The girls absolutely LOVED Crystal, they couldn’t stop talking to me about her and were thrilled they found her through my old Armin DeFiesta DC photography blog.

- This spot was a bit of a climb to get to on their property. Nonetheless, they were more than happy to do it so I can get my shot.

- Speaking of “climbs”, the whole wedding party was game for anything so they went up there for the shot. Photographers – we had a flash placed to the far left on the ground because it was quite dark with all the overcast and shade on that side.
