Kicking off my new blog with Regina & Dan

Welcome to my new blog! Don’t worry, my old blog still exists and you may visit it anytime you’d like. This new blog is a clean, bold & simple look that’s consistent with my brand. Okay, on to business….

The D.C. forecast called for rain, but luck was on our side as Regina, Dan and I met at 7th & F St to shoot one of the most fun engagement sessions I’ve had downtown. Not only are they an amazing couple, Regina & Dan’s wedding will be in beautiful New Town, PA this June just north of Philadelphia. Denise & I are so amped about the wedding because we’ll also see former clients and potentially new clients at their wedding! One of the great things about my “job” is meeting so many wonderful fun people along the way. With his charm and her striking beauty, Dan & Regina are no exception. So to kick off my 2009 season, let’s get this show on the road!

I normally don’t create two slideshows, but I’ve been having fun using web-based www.animoto.com. I’m pleased with the results!

The big slideshow for Regina & Dan includes a link to their Pictage gallery online, plus DVD and small book purchase options.

We hit Union Station and China Town in Washington DC for some action shots. Part of making my couples comfortable in front of the lens is letting them be themselves while I shoot from a distance. Not only is it easier for them to get used to the camera, but also a way I can capture some fun moments.
